What on earth should Baby H.I.T. be called on the blog?!?!?!
We have a few contenders:
My brothers immediately nicknamed him Dr. Tre - a take on the name Dr. Dre. He was also called Master P (as in popper) for a while, but I know a friend of mine calls her little one by that moniker.
I have always called him my little Snuggle Bug. He loves cuddling up into that crook in your neck, gazing into your eyes and falling asleep. It's absolutely adorable until he won't sleep in his crib alone.
With the kids born so close together (I swear, we planned it this way!), we had some help taking care of baby boy while Babes adjusted to life with a less than focused Mama. She would always ask how her Buddy was doing and he would just smile at her loving voice.

I voted for Dr. Tre - after all, every suburban family needs a wannabe rapper in the house! Lol
I like Buddy. When I told Will I was pregnant with Harry, he went up to my stomach and said, "I love you cutie." Cutie was his nickname for a long time. Then Will called him "squishy." Which we still call him to this day (squish for short). Kate nicknamed him Habu and that has stuck as well. I think the nicknames kids give each other are the BEST!
Also a pretty big fan of Dr. Tre...
Master P would be delighted to make Dr. Tre's (I take it he's a III?) acquaintance. I can think of no finer pseudonym for a kid from the CT 'burbs ;-).
I call my daughter Bug and MooCow {don't ask cause I don't know why :)}. And my son is mostly Buddy but we also call him Bud-o, Butter, BuddyBear. Good luck :)
